Why managing stress is important to you

Stress Management is about managing stress and is essential to you as an individual and to all organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of all staff.

The costs of stress and stress-related conditions to organisations are increasing and it is time to take effective action.

Having a healthy and happy workforce will increase morale leading to a boost in energy and productivity.

Controlling stress needs to start at its root cause and this is where we can help to provide a Stress Management Action Plan at an organisational and at an individual level.

Securing management commitment-As a manager, you know your organisation best, and you need to firstly gain commitment from your Senior Management Team to tackle stress. Some organisations we work with, now make it compulsory for all staff to attend stress management awareness  training sessions. They envisage this as a positive step in reducing stress and ensuring they have a happier workforce. Contact us for more information and advice.

All managers should be trained on how to manage stress in their workplace as a priority. Find details of Managing Stress here The law requires employers to tackle stress and they should be managing stress effectively.
